The Order is a way of honouring and celebrating outstanding service to the Diocese by leading lay members of the diocesan family.
It celebrates outstanding and distinctive contributions made to the witness of the Church in the Diocese of St Asaph and expresses gratitude for many years of service.
Every year the Bishop welcomes nominations for the Order.

The Order of St Asaph is intended to recognise diocesan service, but the Bishop is happy to be approached by parishes and deaneries who feel someone’s outstanding contribution should be recognised. He will then issue a suitable certificate that can be used by the parish or deanery for a local presentation.
