The Representative Body in Cardiff are reminding parishes about their Church Improvement Grant Scheme where you can bid for up to £3000 in funding.
The Church in Wales grant can pay for repairs to the fabric of the building and this includes essential heating and electrical work. However, you cannot use this cash to cover re-ordering projects.
Extensions to an existing building or the provision of a new building will also be eligible for a grant, but only when the project in question has the support of the Bishop and the Diocesan Churches and Pastoral Committee.
To apply for one of these grants you need to have the endorsement of your Archdeacon before the plans are discussed by the Church in Wales.
This application is Provincial and is separate from the Diocesan Churches and Pastoral Committee Grant which is local.
Please do not use previous copies of the application form as this will result in delays if it means the form has to be returned to you.
