Diocesan Elections 2017

At this year’s Diocesan Conference on 7 October 2017 at St Joseph’s Anglican and Catholic High School, Wrexham, lay and clerical members will be electing new representatives to the:

  • Governing Body (GB) of the Church in Wales
  • The Representative Body (RB) of the Church in Wales

Nominations are currently being sought from suitable and enthusiastic persons who are willing to contribute to the life of our diocese and the Church in Wales by serving on these important bodies for the next three years.

In addition, nominations are being sought for election to the Shadow Diocesan Property Board.  This is a new Board that, subject to the Diocesan Conference approving the required constitutional change, will amalgamate the current Diocesan Parsonage Board and the Diocesan Churches and Pastoral Committee with effect from this autumn.

All  nominations should be returned to the Diocesan Office by 30 June 2017
