The Bishop of St Asaph, the Rt Revd Gregory Cameron opened the 2015 Diocesan Conference with his Presidential Address, asking what the church today is about.

Comparing views of the church-past with recent photos of the “migrant” church at the jungle camp in Calais, Bishop Gregory asked the conference to consider where Jesus might be found today?
He presented the conference with a bleak possibility:
To continue as we are will bring about a church which dies well as our worshippers die out.
But Bishop Gregory believes that God has much more in store for his people in Wales and urged delegates to “Get on with God’s Mission together. If there’s one message you take away from today,” he said, “It’s get on with God’s Mission together.”
