The Principal along with his Senior Team are responsible for implementing this vision and leading the Institute into new territory by devising formation, ministry training and development for lay and ordained ministries and broader discipleship.

This new role will take the lead in developing a strategy for Continuing Ministerial Development aimed at making a significant contribution to the flourishing of ministers within the Church in Wales and thus to the mission, impact and growth of the Church.

You should have experience of ministry in the Church in Wales and an understanding of the nature of mission and ministry today in order to construct a realistic strategy for CMD for the Church in Wales.

You should also have experience of developing strategy and delivery of training and be able to ensure that the existing limited provision in continuing ministerial development continues to be delivered to a good standard during the transitionary period.

The role will involve significant travel around the Province whilst undertaking considerable consultation with Diocesan Directors of Ministry, Senior Clergy and licensed ministers.

You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to the cultural and bilingual needs of the communities which the Church in Wales serves.
