St Asaph Cathedral is one of North Wales’ most prestigious venues. Every year charitable organisations are offered an opportunity to host a concert or event in the Cathedral completely free of hire charge (the standard hire fee is £700).
How to apply:
Charities who wish to apply should download the application form below and return the completed form to the Diocesan Office before 15 September 2017. The result of the selection process will be announced in November.

There were joint winners in 2017:
- The Colwyn Bay Group of Amnesty International UK for Refugees: Reflections in Worlds and Music on 7 July
- Tenovus for its Lovelight Concert on 30 November
- Dangerpoint for its Christmas Carol Concert (date TBC)
The winner for 2016 was Homes for Veterans, which will be running The Big Sleep in the Cathedral on Friday 4th March. Previous winners include St Kentigern’s Hospice (who held a concert with the East of England Singers, pictured below), Arthritis Research UK and the St Asaph Choral Society. All these charities have been able to use the prestigious venue for a fundraising concert.
