Visitation 2017

It’s been the ancient duty of the Bishop to carry out a Visitation of his diocese every three years or so.  2017 marks the occasion for Bishop Gregory’s third General Visitation of the Diocese of St Asaph.

The Visitations will take place on Sunday afternoons and will begin with a meeting to discuss the life of the mission areas.  During this meeting Bishop Gregory will be able to respond to the issues raised in the Articles of Inquiry that he is asking the Clergy, Lay Ministers and Mission Area Wardens to complete in preparation for his visit.  After the Visitation meeting there will be an opportunity to share in fellowship over refreshments before the Visitation concludes in worship as the mission areas rededicate themselves in the service of Christ and His Church.

All Licensed Clergy, Licensed Lay Ministers and Mission Area Wardens are obliged to attend the Visitation but Bishop Gregory warmly welcomes anyone in the mission area who would like to participate, especially members of the Mission Area Conference.
