Parish Lunch The next Parish Lunch (Bod Erw, 1300h, £13.50 for adults, £8.50 for children) will be on Sunday 19th November. Bookings may be made today with Neil Halsall or Roy Hamilton in the Cathedral and Rob Derry or Richard Parry in the Parish Church.
A Cheese and Wine Evening being held at the Parish Church on Friday 17th November at 7pm. Tickets cost £10 and proceeds are in aid of the Re-ordering Project. For tickets please see Marion Hughes.
Pilgrimage. A pilgrimage is being organised to the Shrine of Our Lady of Walsingham in Norfolk from 16th to 20th July 2018. If you are interested please see Fr Rex and add your name to the list at the back of the Cathedral/Parish Church, where you can also find an information leaflet giving full details of the pilgrimage.
Articles for inclusion in the Parish Magazine. Could all articles please be sent, (preferably by e-mail), by the 25th of the month prior to publication to: firstname.lastname@example.org . If it is not possible to send by e-mail, then hard copies may be left in the Diocesan Office, by the 20th of the preceding month. Please mark articles: FAO: Deborah Allsworth, St Asaph Parish Magazine. In any articles sent either by e-mail, or hard copy, and if including photographs of children, then confirmation that parental or guardian consent for publication needs to be included.
Pantomime – A Trip has been organized to Theatre Clwyd on Thursday 18th January 2018 to see Sleeping Beauty. The cost is £30.00 which includes the coach which leaves the Cathedral car park at 6pm. Tickets are limited, Names to Marion Hughes, Gwenda Evans or Linda Mathias, closing date 12th December.
Mothers Union Meeting on Wednesday November 15th, 2pm at The Old Palace. Talk by Mrs. Glenda Ball on Life in the Salvation Army. A warm welcome to all.
This is a gentle and polite reminder to members of the Parish Church congregation who have not yet returned your pledges but are intending to. If indeed you are planning to make a pledge towards the reordering of the Parish Church, (and it is entirely voluntary), please can you make sure that you have returned it by the end of November? Cheese and Wine event on Friday November 17 starting at 7pm for 7.30. Gemma, from the Little Cheesemonger in Rhuddlan will be teaching us about the cheeses and wines chosen for the evening. On behalf of St Asaph Cathedral Voluntary Choir, Anne Dennis would like to thank everyone who supported, donated to, and helped at the recent coffee and cake morning. The total amount raised was about £250, for which we are very grateful. Diolch yn fawr iawn!

Prayer Group: Thursdays at 11am at the Parish Church – all welcome.
Prayer Circle. We are asking people to give a commitment to praying each day for the needs of the parish. The idea is for the whole group to pray the same specific prayers daily and an email is sent out regularly with updates. If you are interested in becoming part of this prayer for the parish please contact Beryl at email@example.com when you can be added to the list. Also there is a Eucharist every Thursday morning at 10 am when the prayers are for the spiritual growth of the church and at 11 am also on Thursday, there is an opportunity for people to come together to pray, again for the needs of the church.
A new knitting group is starting in the parish church on Monday mornings at 10.30am. If you have never knitted before or are an experienced knitter we would love you to join us. We are starting with twiddle muffs for people living with dementia but if you want to bring your own project that’s fine. Come to knit and chat, just turn up, you will be very welcome.
