Banner Group –All welcome. Monday between 10.30 am and 12.30 am in the Parish Church.  New members always welcome.’

Prayer Group: Thursdays at 11am at the Parish Church – all welcome.

Messy Church Holiday Club. Every Wednesday morning 10:30-12:30. Admission £1.

Prayer Circle. We are asking people to give a commitment to praying each day for the needs of the parish.  The idea is for the whole group to pray the same specific prayers daily and an email is sent out regularly with updates.  If you are interested in becoming part of this prayer for the parish please contact Beryl at berylpt@hotmail.co.uk when you can be added to the list. Also there is a Eucharist every Thursday morning at 10 am when the prayers are for the spiritual growth of the church and at 11 am also on Thursday, there is an opportunity for people to come together to pray, again for the needs of the church.

No services at the Parish Church on Sunday 3rd September as the Civic Service for Colin Hardie will be taking place at the Cathedral at 11am on that day.

Meirion Wyn Jones, will give the last of the 2017 Evening Series of Organ Recitals at St. Asaph Cathedral on Wednesday 6th September at 7.30pm. Admission £6 – All are welcome. Download the St Asaph Cathedral Organ Recital Poster 2017 for more information.

Open the Book
If anyone is interested in joining the Open the Book team we would love to hear from you. We will be starting in September and will be visiting 3 schools every other Wednesday. Any commitment is welcomed. For further information contact Sue Judge on 07421001316 or andyandsue@gmx.co.uk. Sue will also be at the Llanelwy Community Church on Monday 14th August from 1.30pm should you wish to call in and meet some of the team. Alternatively contact Linda Roberts on 01745 585068, she is a team member who attends the parish church.

A Sacred Space – a 30 minutes quiet service with Scripture, prayers and music. This will be held on Thursday 7th September at 6pm in the Cathedral. This month we focus on the Benedictus. All are welcome.

Parish church cleaning on Friday 8th September from 10-12am. New volunteers welcome.

 Articles for inclusion in the Parish Magazine. Could all articles please be sent, (preferably by e-mail), by the 25th of the month prior to publication to: deborah.cotter@btinternet.com .  If it is not possible to send by e-mail, then hard copies may be left in the Diocesan Office, by the 20th of the preceding month.  Please mark articles: FAO: Deborah Allsworth, St Asaph Parish Magazine.  In any articles sent either by e-mail, or hard copy, and if including photographs of children, then confirmation that parental or guardian consent for publication needs to be included.There will be no 11 am service in the Parish Church during August.  The 9.30 am will be a family Eucharist, all welcome.
